Symphonic Band

The Anderson Serangoon Junior College (ASRJC) Symphonic Band stands as a beacon of musical excellence, driven by its passion, dedication and outstanding musicianship. Under the guidance of their esteemed conductor, Mr Adrian Chiang, the ASRJC Symphonic Band has grown to be a mature and confident outfit adept at tackling different genres and delicate musical nuances.

Comprising of talented young musicians from diverse backgrounds, the ASRJC Symphonic Band prides itself on its inclusivity and camaraderie. Through their shared love for music, the members of the band have forged lifelong friendships and created a supportive community that celebrates creativity and artistic expression.

VIVEZZA, a biennial concert by the band, is a testament to the collective dedication and tireless efforts of its members. The band’s repertoire is as diverse as it is dynamic, encompassing a wide range of musical genres and styles. From classical masterpieces to contemporary compositions, their performances are characterised by their precision, passion, and emotional depth, captivating audiences.

Carrying the college motto of Discere Servire-Non Mihi Solum, the ASRJC Symphonic Band has also reached out to communities to share the joy of music with beautiful ensemble pieces at different community events. Through their music, they strive to inspire and uplift others, spreading joy and positivity wherever they go.

Divided by sections but united in harmony, the ASRJC Symphonic Band members and its alumni continue to carry the passion and love of music making with great joy and pride, bringing ASRJC Symphonic Band to greater heights.
